Ving Rhames (b. Irving Rameses Rhames on May 12, 1959 in New York, USA) is an actor. He had a
recurring guest starring role as mechanic Walter Robbins in ER. His character is the brother-in-law of starring character Peter Benton and the husband of Benton's sister, Jackie.
He starred in the Quentin Tarantino crime drama Pulp Fiction (1994) as crime boss Marcellus Wallace. He starred in the Steven Soderbergh crime drama Out of Sight (1998) as bank robber Buddy Bragg. This role saw him playing the partner and best friend of Jack Foley, played by ER star George Clooney.
He stars as espionage technical specialist Luther Stickell opposite Tom Cruise in the Mission Impossible film franchise. He played Kenneth in the Zack Snyder remake of Dawn of the Dead (2004).
