Plot[]
As Morris prepares to take his written board exams, the staff tries to uncover details about Neela's unusual new intern. Meanwhile, Kovac's obligations to his family in Croatia leave Abby feeling the burden of single parenthood; and Moretti, pleased with Gates' performance in the ICU, reassigns him to the ER.
Short summary[]
Morris is missing Hope and having trouble with thoughts of straying. Neela gets an intern and must find the best way to mentor him. Gates is given another chance in the ER, and quickly clashes with Kayson on a diagnosis. Abby hears from Luka and learns that his absence will be extended another week. Coburn tries to help a resistant Abby.
