Maggie Wyczenski is the mother of Abby Lockhart
First appearance[]
Maggie first appears in the episode The Visit when she is visiting Abby. She has bipolar disorder and is unpredictable. She loves Abby, but gets out of control easily.
Next appearance[]
Maggie appears again in the Season 7 episode The Dance We Do. She caused a ruckus in a department store so she had to get stitches. While she is getting stitches Luka has a fallen eyelash, Maggie bothers Luka and tries to make him blow the lash. She blows it for him and Abby apologizes for what happened and says it is "Just part of the disease". Maggie gets flustered and starts shaming Abby about what she used to do when her friends were over. Abby tells her to shut and Maggie grabs Abby's face and tries tackles her. Abby asks if Maggie wants a 5 of Haldol, Maggie immediately regrets what she did and tells Abby she is sorry. Maggie becomes enraged and runs away from Luka and Abby saying she is going to leave. She runs into Luka and he picks her up and puts her on the bed Dr. Carter comes in and helps Luka and Abby control Maggie. All while Maggie is screaming for Abby not to let them do this. Then Maggie calls Abby a bitch.
Sailing Away[]
In the episode Sailing Away, Maggie is in an Oklahoma motel where she has overdosed. Abby and Carter go to get her and she is put on a ventilator and might not wake up. She does in the end.
After Season seven[]
After Season 7 we don't see Maggie as often. We see her again in Bloodline after Joe is born, asking a lot of questions about why Joe is being bagged and put on a ventilator. She annoys Abby and is told to leave the room.
