Linda Cardellini, born June 25, 1975 in Redwood City, California, USA, is an actress. She starred as Nurse Samantha Taggart from the tenth season to the fifteenth and final season. She debuts in the tenth season episode "Out of Africa". She has also starred in the teen drama Freaks and Geeks. She portrayed Velma Dinkley in the live-action movie of Scooby-Doo (2002) and it's sequel Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004). She has also appeared in the films Legally Blonde (2001), Brokeback Mountain (2005) and Grandma's Boy (2006). She has appeared in the series 3rd Rock from the Sun, Boy Meets World and Person of Interest. She featured in the CBS miniseries Comanche Moon, the prequel to Lonesome Dove.
