James Hayman is an American motion picture director, cinematographer and producer. He is an episodic director for ER; he directed three episodes of the first season in the 1994 to 1995 television season. He helmed the eighth episode "9 1/2 Hours", the fifteenth episode "Feb 5, '95", and the seventeenth episode "The Birthday Party". He has also worked on Northern Exposure, The Sopranos, Ugly Betty, and Judging Amy.
