Jackie Robbins is a character on the NBC network series, ER. She is the sister of Dr. Peter Benton.
She was portrayed by Khandi Alexander.
History[]
In the 1st season, she and Peter clash over the care of their mother, Mae. After Mae suffers from a broken hip, she is later placed in a nursing home, but dies from a heart attack in the episode, Motherhood.
Jackie is usually seen helping Peter take care of his son, Reese and supporting him through his various conflicts with his ex-girlriend, Carla Reese.
In the 7th season, Jackie's youngest son, Jesse is shot and killed as he was trying to get his girlfriend, Kynesha to leave a gang.
During the 8th season, Jackie is seen getting into conflicts with Roger McGrath over Reese as Peter fights to gain full custody of him following Carla's death in a car accident.
