"Home" is the ninth episode of the second season of ER.

It follows Mark Greene to Milwaukee when his wife Jennifer and daughter Rachel are in a car accident. He learns a surprising secret. Susan Lewis declines to present a medical conference case to take care of little Suzie.

Plot[]

Susan puts little Suzie above an opportunity to present a case to a medical conference in Miami. Mark rushes to Milwaukee when his family is involved in a car accident, but receives some more shocking news. Carol and Jeanie tend to a schizophrenic young architect. Doug dines with his mother.

NBC Description[]

HITTING HOME: Just after treating a hit-and-run victim, Greene learns that his wife and daughter were involved in a serious car accident back in Milwaukee.

Lewis is asked to speak at a prestigious medical conference but opts to stay with baby Susie instead.

In an effort to get a break from Benton's demanding schedule, Carter encourages him to interview for Vucelich's (Ron Rifkin) research project.

Short summary[]

Carter and Harper are trying to find a place where they can make out but continually get disturbed. Jeanie and Carol try to find a place for a schizophrenic patient who's banned from his home. Jennifer and Rachel have been involved in a car accident and Mark rushes to the Milwaukee hospital they're in. Susan gets a letter from Chloe.

Short synopsis[]

A baby comes in and dies of SIDS. Carter and Harper try to find a place to make out but keep getting interrupted. Greene's family is in a car accident, Boulet and Hathaway try to find a schizophrenic patient a new home.
