"The Human Shield"
THERE IS NO BUSINESS LIKE MONKEY BUSINESS IN THE ER: Clemente (John Leguizamo), Abby (Maura Tierney) and Neela (Parminder Nagra) secretly care for a VIP patient while Dubenko (Leland Orser) tortures the staff via a robotic television camera from home.
Sam (Linda Cardellini) is coerced into a management role and is given a dreadful task.
Meanwhile, Pratt is visited by his half-brother, and emotions from the past remind him of his father's (Danny Glover) abandonment.
Goran Visnjic, Shane West and Kristen Johnston also star.
- Neela's reference to calling Ray "Jerry Lee" is tied to the famous singer who married his teenage 1st cousin.
Neela: Zoey's here. She's in exam 2.
Ray: She is?
Neela: Yes, she is. Oh, and I almost forgot. She's 14 years old.
Ray: Shut up.
Neela: She was born in 1990, Ray.
Neela: That's the decade immediately preceeding the decade that we're in.
Ray: Are you for real?
Neela: Yes. And in prison math I believe 14 equals 5 to 10.
Ray: Where is she?
Neela: Exam 2. And here's the kicker, Jerry Lee. Your pre-pubescent penis hound has clamidia.
Ray: I had no idea she was that young.
Haleh: Who covered for you all those times your kid was in trouble? How many shifts were you late or had to leave early? And now you're going to fire me for too much overtime? For what, Sam? A couple hundred bucks a month.
