David Lyons, born April 16, 1976 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, is an actor. He played Dr. Simon Brenner from the fourteenth season to the fifteenth and final season of ER. He had initially appeared as a recurring guest star in the fourteenth season and was promoted to series regular in the fifteenth season. He is known for his role as Leading Seaman Josh Holiday in the Australian drama series Sea Patrol. He had a leading role in the short-lived NBC series The Cape. He currently has a starring role in the NBC show Revolution. He appeared alongside Julia Roberts in the film Eat Pray Love (2011).
