"Crisis of Conscience" is the 16th episode of the thirteenth season of ER. It was first aired on NBC on February 15 in 2007. It was written by Lisa Zwerling and directed by Steve Shill.
Plot
Sam is overworked because some nurses are sick, others on vacation, etc. Gates and Kovač treat Anna Hayes who is vomiting and has an altered mental status. Sam is angry when a cop drops Alex at the ER after he stole quarters from a laundromat. Neela finds out unethical business is going on with the transplant program and blows the whistle on it.
Short summary
Luka and Gates finds themselves at moral odds when treating a woman suffering liver failure. Abby cares for a couple with injuries resulting from an unusual ceremony as well as a fortune-teller with a prediction for her future. Neela prepares for another kidney transplant, but something seems amiss to her, leading to a confrontation with Dubenko. Ray treats the victim of an unusual fall, and Alex's troubles continue to intrude on Sam's work life.

Tommy: (Moves closer to Abby's ear) And you should really invite your dad to the wedding.
(Abby looks very surprised to hear that)
