Al Boulet was Jeanie Boulet's husband during the first three seasons of ER. He was originally portrayed by Wolfgang Bodison, but was replaced by Michael Beach in Season 2.
History[]
He slept around with different women, and, as a result, he contracted HIV that soon turned into AIDS. Since he is married to Jeanie, she contracts HIV. Jeanie learns that Al is cheating on her and knows that he has HIV, and while she is dating Peter Benton, she urges him to get the test, though Benton tests clear for HIV.
In "Status Quo", it is mentioned by Jeanie that Al died from AIDS, and was 78 pounds at his death.
