"A Miracle Happens Here" is the tenth episode of the second season of ER.
Christmas has become a miracle for both the ER staff and the patients. Among the miracles is Carol Hathaway has her Christmas spirits lifted when she treats a man who looks like Santa Claus while Jeanie Boulet handles gang members whose beloved priest was shot to death and are planning revenge.
Plot[]
It's Christmas time in the ER and it's filled with miracles.
Hathaway hosts a Christmas party and receives a surprising gift when she treats a patient who looks like Santa Claus. A Holocaust survivor who was carjacked awaits word on her granddaughter.
Jeanie tries to stop gang members from seeking revenge for the murder of their beloved priest.
Greene spends Christmas in the ER as he copes with his wife's affair and the deposition of the Jodi O'Brien lawsuit.

HOLIDAY PROPOSALS: While his estranged wife asks to keep their daughter over the holidays, Greene deals with hospital attorneys. They're anxious to settle the malpractice suit with the husband whose wife died in labor last year.
A drunk zamboni driver levels a group of ice skaters and lands them all in the ER.
Lewis treats a priest while Hathaway treats a Kris Kringle look-a-like. Later, at a last minute caroling party at Hathaway's house, Shep proposes.
